for SEMO Pickleball

We weren’t lying about the whole “fastest-growing sport” thing. Courts fill up quickly, especially when they are climate controlled.

At The Pickleball Factory, we have 14 of them and you’ll play on the only cushioned courts in Southeast Missouri by Official USA Pickleball Partner, SportMaster.

But like we said, they go quick. Reserve yours now.

LEARN THE LINGO

You don’t have to play like a pro to sound like one.
Before you hit the court, brush up on your vocab.

DRINK

A soft, short shot just over the net, meant to land in the kitchen and make it tough for your opponent to smash back.

VOLLEY

Hitting the ball before it bounces. It’s a quick reflex move often done at the net.

POACH

When one doubles partner crosses over into the other’s side to take a shot, usually to surprise the opponents.

KITCHEN

The non-volley zone near the net where you’re not allowed to smash or volley the ball; it’s where the dinking happens.

ERNE

A sneaky shot where you hit the ball while standing outside the sideline, usually after jumping over the kitchen.

LOB

A high, arching shot meant to go over your opponent’s head, pushing them to the back of the court.
